Two-in-one engine, Brain!

Left brain - logic and reasoning. Right - intuition. Equal forces. Can create together. Can function independently. When one gets greater attention via input, the other lets its absence known. It is much like a wholesome diet. When nutrients are deficient, the system shows the impact of its deficiency. Nothing wrong or right. It is just something deficient. As the body grows, it requires input consistent with its size and function and pace of development. Like the micronutrients that are not so micro in its necessity, there may be other processes in the background as yet undistinguished consciously that may be keeping the system in optimal order. Neuroscience is just yet another field of study in a stage of development, much like any other field is. There is a Eureka moment on the simplest of things even after years of study, by reintepretation, or from a fresh perspective. Only the learning seems constant and the awe/amazement of it, and the curiosity and inquiry paving way to more learning. The child-adult-parent element in the mental makeup determining the direction taken and the discovery thereof.
